With two players seeing a board of 3♥Q♣A♥J♣ and roughly 200,000 already in the middle, Ronald Steinmetz was all in for 399,000 and up against Eric Sfez who had him covered.

Sfez had flopped a set of threes but Steinmetz had turned a set of jacks to take the lead. The 10♣ river changed nothing and Steinmetz dragged in a gargantuan pot while making a serious dent in Sfez' stack.
David Miscikowski opened to 30,000 in early position, and was faced with a three-bet to 120,000 by Rayane Mokhtar in the small blind. Action folded back to Miscikowski, who called.
On the A♠J♣9♦ flop, Mokhtar fired out a bet of 90,000, and Miscikowski called.
The turn brought the 9♥, and Mokhtar continued to fire, shipping 225,000 into the middle. Miscikowski took a minute or two, before again putting in calling chips.
The 4♥ river completed the board, and Mokhtar slowed down, checking to his opponent. Miscikowski took a moment to think, before moving all in for around 1,000,000, just covering Mokhtar.
Mokhtar went into the tank, and after about three minutes, released his hand. Miscikowski smiled and flashed the Q♦ prompting Mokhtar to laugh and exclaim "Oh no, not the queen, not the queen!", leading to much amusement for the rest of the table.
Miscikowski is now likely to be the tournament chip leader.
Ioannis Koulopoulos had raised the button and Christophe Pommier three-bet the small blind to 75,000. Koulopoulos then four-bet to 215,000, only for Pommier to five-bet shove for 541,000. Koulopoulos went deep into thought but after around two minutes, he let his hand go.
Mengshi Tian opened under the gun to 30,000. Cherish Andrews called in middle position, and Adolfo Vaeza Baque defended from the big blind.
After Baque checked the 7♥Q♣10♥ flop, Tian bet 35,000, which only Andrews called.
Tian fired a second bet of 105,000 on the A♣ turn and Andrews called.
The river came the 2♥ and Tian bet 225,000. Andrews thought it over for a few moments before shoving for the rest of Tian's 300,000 chips. Tian did some inventory but ultimately settled on a fold, and Andrews dragged in the pot.
Breno Drumond was all-in preflop for roughly 250,000 from the big blind with Gheorghe Butuc making the call from the cutoff.

Drumond had ran into the tens of Butuc and needed to find a king or some clubs to survive. However, the runout of 9♥J♦5♣A♦9♠ didn't help Drumond and Butoc's pocket tens would win the pot.
With two players seeing a board of 4♥Q♠A♣9♠8♣ and around 160,000 in the middle, Lars Romundstad shoved from the small blind for around 130,000. Arnaud Enselme, who was in the big blind, contemplated for about a minute before flicking in the call.
Enselme had second-pair with Q♥6♦ but Romundstad had him beat with A♦10♣ for top pair to score a full double up.

In a preflop confrontation Andreas Moser, who according to his tablemates had doubled up just a couple hands prior, was all in for roughly 160,000 from under the gun and was up against Bixi Yao who covered him from the small blind.
