Molenaar Sends Ladva to the Rail
Niveau 7
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
The action was caught with the flop showing J♣7♣3♥. Michel Molenaar had checked from middle position and faced a bet of 10,000 from Ottomar Ladva in the seat to his direct left. Molenaar check-shoved for Ladva's remaining 70,000 and Ladva called.
Ottomar Ladva: Q♥J♥
Michel Molenaar: A♣5♣
Ladva was ahead with top pair but Molenaar had a lot of outs. The 7♠ turn didn't change anything, but the A♥ on the river gave Molenaar a pair of aces to win the pot and eliminate Ladva.
