Thorel Busts Watson to Take Chip Lead
Niveau 14
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Mike Watson moved all in from middle position for 142,000 and Ladva Ottomar called in late position. Jean-Noel Thorel then three-bet to 260,000 from the small blind and Ottomar called.
The flop came 7♠3♥9♠ and Thorel continued for 500,000. Ottomar folded and Thorel scooped the side pot before he and Watson revealed their cards. Watson had K♥Q♠ and Thorel had J♥J♠.
The turn was the 3♣ and river the 6♥. Watson didn't improve and Thorel held with his pocket jacks to win the pot, sending Watson to the rail.
