Okamoto Scores a Dramatic Double Through Janusz
Niveau 5
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Cards were on their backs preflop with Shiina Okamoto at risk for about 11,000 from the button versus Pawel Janusz in the cutoff.
Shiina Okamoto: A♥K♠
Pawel Janusz: A♦10♠
Okamoto had way the best of it, but the flop came A♣10♦2♦, giving Janusz two pair with his ten.
Okamoto began to pack up, but the K♥ came to her rescue on the turn to give her a better two pair.
The river Q♠ kept her ahead to give her a much-needed double up.
