Moura Puts a Dent in Kaverman's Comeback Attempt
Niveau 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Byron Kaverman had managed to rebuild his stack back up to around 200,000 after taking that earlier beat against Dean Lyall when he tangled in a pot with Gabriel Moura.
Kaverman opened to 20,000 in early position and Moura called in the big blind. Kaverman continued for 14,000 on the 7♣3♠2♣ flop and Moura called.
Kaverman bet another 35,000 on the A♦ turn and Moura again called. The river was the 4♥ and Moura led out for 65,000.
Kaverman peeked back at his cards and shook his head as he quickly surrendered the pot.
