Orchide Left Short After Hero Call
Niveau 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Fabiano Kovalski raised his K♠9♠ to 30,000 under the gun and was called by Matteo Orchide in the seat next to him, who had A♦Q♠.
Both players checked the 5♣8♥7♠ flop before Kovalski bet 105,000 on the 3♠ turn. Orchide called to the 6♣ river. Kovaslki sized up to 240,000 with his straight, sending Orchide in the tank.
Eventually, he decided to call with ace-high, but quickly saw the bad news and sent his cards into the muck. The pot was shipped to Kovalski while Orchide was left with around 12 big blinds.
