Andrew Hulme Eliminated in 2nd Place (€1,165,614)
Niveau 37
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Stephen Song open-jammed on the button and Andrew Hulme called off in the big blind with a stack of 5,300,000.
Andrew Hulme: 8♥8♦
Stephen Song: A♣7♥
Hulme was in great shape to double up, but the flop landed 5♦3♦6♣ to increase Song's chances with a gutshot. The four extra outs proved useful as the 4♠ turn gave him the straight to leave Hulme drawing to just a chop.
Song faced his girlfriend as the 9♦ bricked off on the river to secure his status as EPT Barcelona Main Event champion.
