Larag Doubles Through Ganivet

Mhamed Larag was all in preflop for 44,600 from middle position against Alejandro Ganivet in the small blind, who had him covered as players turned their cards.

Anatski Avoids Disaster With Kings

Ilya Anatski bet 5,000 from the cutoff on a board of 39210 before Florens Feenstra moved all in from middle position. Anatski quickly called for 35,000.

Anatski showed KK, but he was trailing Feenstra's 109 for two pair until the river brought the 6 to give Anatski a flush and secure him a double up.

Lipnitskii Puts Pautrot in the Blender

Action folded around to Vladimir Lipnitskii who called in the small blind. Klaus Pautrot made it 3,800. Lipnitskii called.

Lipnitskii check-called a bet of 3,000 on the K48 flop before both players checked the 8 river. Lipnitskii led 11,000 on the 9 river. Pautrot went into the tank. "I don't know" he said as he pondered his decision. He apologised to his table mates for taking his time.

Eventually he called and was shown KJ for top pair and Pautrot mucked.

Bansal Battles Zobian and Greenwood

Niveau 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Paawan Bansal raised to 2,500 in the cutoff and was called by Aram Zobian in the small blind and Sam Greenwood in the big blind.

On the A94 flop, the two high stakes crushers checked to Bansal who continued for 2,100.

Only Greenwood called to see the 10 come on the turn. He then checked again.

Bansal, who is no slouch himself with nearly a million dollars in tournament earnings according to the HendonMob, loaded up a bigger bet of 13,000 which got a quick fold from Greenwood.

Heads up on a flop of K7K, Lin Zhou bet 2,000 from under the gun before Nazar Buhaiov raised to 7,200 in the big blind. Zhou called and the 2 fell on the turn.

Buhaiov then bet 8,500 and Zhou moved all in for 31,900. Buhaiov snap-called with KQ for trips, but Zhou had AK and took the pot with his ace-kicker once the 9 completed the board on the river.

Matthew Gillingham bet 6,000 from early position on a flop of QJ7, Erik Bauer raised to 20,000 in the big blind, and Gillingham called.

The turn was the K and Bauer bet 30,000. Gillingham quickly called once more and both players checked down the 10 river.

Gillingham showed QJ for two pair, but Bauer had QQ for a set to win the pot.

Fabrizio Ortolomo opened to 2,400 from the hijack. Dawid Szopinski called on the button and Mohamed Lakhal defended the big blind.

The Q53 flop was checked around. Both Ortolomo and Lakhal checked again on the 2 turn. Szopinski bet 3,400 and got two quick folds.
