It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.

Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.

PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.

Daniel Myers moved all in from the hijack for 790,000, Luka Sorainen moved all in himself for 960,000 from the button and the hand went to a showdown.

Myers needed some help and the A♣ window card looked promising, however, the 8♠2♠ that followed behind gave Sorainen a set. The K♥ turn ensured Myers wasn't drawing dead, while the K♠ river propelled him into the lead, doubling up the very first hand after the dinner break.

They saw a flop of 4♠9♠3♠ which Moene checked, Kuzmanovic bet 80,000, and Moene called.

An 8♣ fell on the turn which both players checked to the 2♥ river. Moene led for 525,000, and Kuzmanovic eventually folded his pair of fours.

Yurii Zabrodotskyi raised to 125,000 in the cutoff and got called by Daniel Myers in the big blind.

On the A♠J♠3♠ flop, Myers check-called a bet of 80,000 to see the 4♥ turn.

Zabrodotskyi led for 400,000 but he was met with an all-in raise by Myers for roughly 1,500,000.

Myers got the bet through as Zabrodotskyi folded to send the pot across the table.

With over a million in the pot, the players now checked the 5♣ turn to see the 3♥ river.

Doddapaneni bet 650,000 and after a bit of thought from Myers, he folded.
