On the first hand back from dinner, Rania Nasreddine opened to 400,000 from the hijack with A♥J♦ and Andrew Hulme defended his big blind from the short stack with 10♣9♦.

The flop fell K♠9♥4♠ and after Hulme checked, Nasreddine continued for 400,000. Hulme moved in for 2,450,000 and Nasreddine folded.

The following hand saw Hulme open A♥7♥ from the small blind for his now 4,000,000 stack and got a fold from David Coleman in the big blind.

Marius-Catalin Pertea A♥J♥ raised to 450,000 from middle position. Alexandre Fournier A♣8♣ three-bet to 1,400,000 from the small blind. Pertea called with his superior ace. Neither player connected on the K♠7♦6♣ flop, with Pertea's kicker keeping him ahead. Fournier bet 700,000 and folded out the better hand.

Stephen Song 10♣8♣ made it 400,000 from early position before Pertea A♠K♠ jammed for 3,100,000 from the next seat over. Action folded back to Song, who also released his hand.

Song J♣10♣ opened to 400,000 on the next deal. Boris Kuzmanovic folded 5♥5♣ from the hijack. David Coleman 6♠5♠ defended his big blind. Coleman had a gutshot on the Q♦8♦4♠ flop but Song's high card kept the latter ahead. Coleman check-called for 400,000, bringing in the 4♥ turn. Coleman was forced out of the pot after Song sized up to 1,200,000

Lin folded to send the pot to Coleman's better ace.

On the following hand, Fabiano Kovalski opened A♦Q♥ to 400,000 under the gun and Rania Nasreddine just flatted in middle position with A♠K♥. Marius-Catalin Pertea came along in the big blind with A♥8♠.

The flop came J♥5♦3♥ and the trio checked to the 7♠ turn. Pertea led for 675,000, which managed to get through his two opponents.

Rania Nasreddine K♠10♠ opened to 400,000 from under the gun and was called by Boris Kuzmanovic A♥J♥ on her direct left. The 9♦2♠5♦ flop checked through to the K♣ turn, giving Nasreddine the lead with a pair of kings. She bet 500,000 and folded out Kuzmanovic.

Jianwei Lin 10♦10♣ made it 400,000 from middle positon and Nasreddine 5♠3♠ defended her big blind. The Q♠J♠3♥ flop gave Nasreddine bottom pair and flush draw but remained behind Lin's pocket pair. She check-raised to 600,000 over a bet of 250,000. Lin three-bet to 1,800,000 with the best hand and Nasreddine called, leaving 2,000,000 behind as the pot swelled to 4,700,000. The 5♣ turn gave Nasreddine two pair, and she moved all in, and Lin was pushed out of the pot.

The K♥ fell on the turn, and after another check from Kuzmanovic, Song bet 800,000. This bet shed Kuzmanovic.

The following hand saw Kuzmanovic limp the small blind with 7♥5♣. Alexandre Fournier raised to 700,000 in the big blind and Kuzmanovic folded.

Next up was Fabiano Kovalski raising to 400,000 in the hijack with 10♥10♣. That raise cleared the field.

Pertea Wins at Showdown

Pertea took the lead on the J♥9♥6♣ flop, and action checked through to the 2♦ turn. Pertea bet 700,000, and Hulme folded his pair of sixes. After using a time bank, Song made it 1,700,000 and was called.

With 4,900,000 in the middle, the 10♠ completed the board. Song gave another time bank to the dealer before checking. Pertea followed suit, and his one pair was good enough to take the pot at showdown.
