Thorel Nearly Doubles Through Petrangelo
Niveau 9
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel limped from under the gun and Nick Petrangelo raised to 22,000 on the button. Action folded back to Thorel, who three-bet to 52,000. Petrangelo called.
Petrangelo proceeded to call bets from Thorel on every street. First for 50,000 on the K♣10♣2♠ flop, then for 75,000 on the 10♦ turn, and lastly for 170,000 on the 6♥ river.
Thorel tabled 2♣2♥ for deuces-full and Petrangelo sent his hand into the muck.
