Antonius Sends Barbero Out
Niveau 10
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Patrik Antonius opened to 17,000 from under the gun and was three-bet to 42,000 by Nacho Barbero in the cutoff. Action folded back to Antonius, who put a stack of 25k-denomination chips into the middle, which was enough to put Barbero all in for a bit over 200,000.
Barbero called and a showdown was held.
Nacho Barbero: J♣J♠
Patrik Antonius: Q♠Q♥
Barbero found himself pipped, and the Q♦8♦10♥3♣2♦ runout was of no help to eliminate Barbero early in Day 2.
