Chmiel Hits Flush to Double
Niveau 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
With around 35,000 in the middle, Tomasz Chmiel checked under the gun on a flop of 6♣5♠9♠. Juan Lopez made a bet of 12,000, after which Chmiel shoved all in for 48,000.
Lopez made a quick call with the covering stack and the cards were turned over.
Tomasz Chmiel: A♠10♠
Juan Lopez: J♠J♣
Lopez's jacks were still in the lead, but Chmiel locked up the pot with a flush on the Q♠ turn. The A♥ river was meaningless and Chmiel doubled to a six-figure stack.
