Kiletto and Pamukcu Both Bust to Burst the Day 2 Bubble
In a moment of bubble madness, five tables were frozen for all in and calls. Two of those resulted in a double up and one in a split, while two players were eliminated on the stone bubble.
In the first bustout hand, Lily Kiletto was all in from early position and was called by Oleg Bessaev in the big blind. Kiletto was at risk as players flipped their cards.
Lily Kiletto: A♦Q♣
Oleg Bessaev: J♣J♦
The board ran out 4♥K♠5♠6♦7♥ and Bessaev held with his pocket jacks to win the pot, eliminating Kiletto.
Over on the other table, Hakan Pamukcu shoved for his last 18,000 from the hijack and Nariman Yaghmai called on the button to put Pamukcu at risk.
Hakan Pamukcu: A♥10♠
Nariman Yaghmai: K♠Q♥
Pamukcu held the lead with his ace, but the Q♠8♣K♥8♦6♦ runout improved Yaghmai to two pair to eliminate Pamukcu along with Kiletto to burst the Day-2 bubble.
