Skarparis Slips Through with a River Flush, Leaves Scagnetti Shaken

With around 51,000 already in the pot and the board showing J♦3♣K♣, Adriano Scagnetti, first to act, checked. Georgios Skarparis followed suit, and Soteris Charalambous, sitting on the button, bet 8,500. Scagnetti made the call, but Skarparis went all in for 46,000, putting the pressure back on Charalambous.

After a long think, Charalambous called, leaving Scagnetti to shove his remaining 80,000 into the pot. Charalambous, feeling the heat, open-folded AxKx, saying, "Someone must have aces."

At showdown, Skarparis revealed 10♣9♣ for a flush draw and gutshot straight draw, while Scagnetti confidently turned over J♠J♥ for a set of jacks. The A♠ on the turn didn’t change anything, but the river brought the 7♣, completing Skarparis’s flush and giving him a massive triple-up, leaving Scagnetti stunned in disbelief.

Federico Macori pushed his chips into the middle, leaving 4,000 behind and shoving for around 25,000. Hector Miguel Henkel Aguirre called in the big blind.

The flop came J♦J♥8♥ and Aguirre flicked a 5,000 chip in the middle. Macori called all in and players revealed their cards. Aguirre had Q♠J♠ for trip jacks and Macori had 5♣5♠ for two pair, fives with the jacks on board.

Aguirre was set to win the pot until the 5♦ turn gave Macori a full house. The river was the 6♠ and Macori held to double up his stack.
