Tammel Doubles via Wheeler

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Around 8,000 was in the middle on a flop of J97, in a hand between Tarmo Tammel in the cutoff and Jason Wheeler in the small blind.

Tammel fired out a bet of 5,000, only to be faced with a check-raise to 12,500 from Wheeler. Tammel thought it through for a bit before moving the rest of his stack, totaling 20,500 into the middle. Wheeler made the quick call with the slightly covering stack.

Tarmo Tammel: QQ All in
Jason Wheeler: A8

Tammel was ahead with pocket queens versus Wheeler's nut flush draw, and when he saw his opponent's cards, Tammel quipped "That's what I was hoping you had!".

The turn brought the Q to improve Tammel to top set, and the 5 river was not the diamond Wheeler required.

Pro Backdoors a Flush

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A full board of 1057104 was showing with around 7,000 chips in the pot, and Hector Aguirre had fired 2,000 on the river into Gonzalo Pro. After a few moments, Pro then shoved his stack of around 13,000 into the middle, and Aguirre went deep into thought.

Around a minute passed before Aguirre finally clicked the call button, then he flipped A10 for trip tens. However, Pro had that beat with A9 for a flush, which earned him the pot and the double-up.

Double-Up for Pirisi

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Rosen Apostolov opened to 700 from early position before being faced with a three-bet to 3,600 from Matteo Pirisi in the cutoff. Aleksandr Ilin was on the button, and he cold-called, while Apostolov got out of the way.

On the 1042 flop, Pirisi continued with a bet of 4,000, receiving a quick call from Ilin.

The 2 turn brought fireworks. Pirisi fired out another bet of 6,000, and Ilin quickly moved all in for 21,500 total, with Pirisi snap-calling to put himself at risk.

Matteo Pirisi: A2 All in
Aleksandr Ilin: 66

Pirisi was in great shape with the turned trip deuces, and only had to fade a six to secure the double-up. The 3 river was a brick and Ilin was left with crumbs.

Kayhan Sardan raised to 1,300 from under the gun and Nebojsa Ankucic three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff. Abdullah Akbarpoor called in the small blind, Vladislav Naumov called out of the big blind, and Sardan put in the extra.

On the flop of 1029, it checked all the way to Ankucic, who fired 5,500. Akbarpoor folded, Naumov called, and Sardan folded.

Both then saw the K fall on the turn which Naumov checked, and Ankucic kept up the aggression with a bet of 9,000. Naumov thought for some time but ultimately decided on a fold.

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Yaser Sakarya raised the cutoff to 1,200 and Hassan Dahmani called from the button. Ekin Gundogan also came along from the big blind.

Dahmani went into the tank and had already counted out calling chips, but eventually elected to fold, and Sakarya took the pot.

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

EPT Paris Main Event champion and PokerStars Ambassador Barny Boatman opened to 1,300 from early position, before being faced with a three-bet to 5,100 by Atanas Kodinov in middle position.

Action folded to Andrei Sediakin in the small blind, who produced a cold four-bet to 11,000. Boatman got out of the way, but Kodinov made the call after some thought.

On the 765 flop, Sediakin continued with a bet of 2,500, and Kodinov called.

The turn brought the K, and after quite a bit of deliberation, Sediakin fired out a bet of 3,600, leading to a swift fold from Kodinov.
