On the first hand of the heads up, Marcelo Bonanata raised to 130,000 on the button. Aleksejs Ponakovs then three-bet to 130,000 in the big blind and Bonanata announced a reraise to 1,000,000.

Ponakovs instantly folded, surrendering the pot with a grin on his face.

The 4♣10♥10♣ flop was then checked to Ponakovs, who fired 75,000. Korzinin called before Bonanata folded.

Ponakovs sized up to 275,000 on the 6♥ turn. Korzinin check-raised all in for his remaining 860,000 and was snap called by Ponakovs.

Korzinin's bluff was already drawing dead against Ponakovs' trips. He thanked his opponents for the game and then happily exclaimed, "Freedom!" as he left the table.

On the K♣K♥2♠ flop, Bonanata check-called versus a bet of 65,000, and did the same on the K♦ turn versus a bet of 145,000.

The 6♣ river was checked through. Ponakovs showed A♠8♠ for ace-high, which was good versus Bonanata's Q♦10♥ for queen-high.

Vogelsang was ahead and remained so on the 5♦7♥3♠ flop. Ponakovs turned top pair with the J♣, however, and the 3♥ river did not bring Vogelsang a ten.

He left the tournament in fourth place, redeeming his final two bounties. He pulled the last remaining $20,000 bounty and a bounty of $7,500 to soothe his pain a little bit.

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 100,000 under the gun and was called by Vladimir Korzinin on the button. Marcelo Bonanata defended his big blind, after which the action checked to Korzinin on the K♥3♠A♣ flop.

He bet 200,000, which Bonanata called. Ponakovs folded and the subsequent 8♦ turn went check-check. The 5♦ river was also checked down.

Bonanata tabled A♦4♦ for top pair, taking down the pot when Korzinin's cards hit the muck.

The 5♥ hit on the turn, and Ponakovs check-called all in versus a bet of 350,000 from Korzinin.

Fritz looked set for the double-up, but the A♣9♦J♥ flop spelled some danger, as his opponent flopped a pair of jacks with backdoor straight possibilities.

The 7♥ turn brought in the draw, and sure enough the 10♣ rolled off on the river to give Vogelsang the jack-high straight and send Fritz to the rail.
