Ponakovs Cracks Martirosian
Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 24,000 from the hijack, and was called by Artur Martirosian in the cutoff. Short-stacked Teun Mulder then three-bet jammed for 45,000 from the small blind.
Ponakovs asked Martirosian how much he had behind, and on being informed the amount was 347,000, he immediately four-bet jammed with the covering stack. Martirosian made the quick call to create a three-way all-in scenario.

Mulder and Ponakovs were ahead, and although a chop seemed possible, the J♦8♥2♠ flop put Mulder and Ponakovs ahead with a pair of jacks.
The 4♥A♥ turn and river were bricks, sending Martirosian to the rail, while Mulder had to settle for chopping the main pot with Ponakovs.
Ponakovs was the happy man however, as he won the real prize, the chunky 302,000 side pot versus Martirosian, and the bounty token.
