Ionescu Wins a Flip In Dramatic Fashion
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Goossens raised to 2,200 from the hijack, Petre Ionescu three-bet jammed for 19,900 from the button and Goossens made the call.
Petre Ionescu: 6♠6♦
Michael Goossens: A♣10♣
This flip fell in the favour of Goossens on the 10♠3♥Q♠ flop. However, the unlikely 7♠ turn and 2♠ river improved Ionescu to a flush to stay alive.
