Mulder Doubles up Twice in Back-to-Back Hands

In the first hand, Teun Mulder shoved from the small blind for his last 880,000 and Hassan Nashar called from the big blind.

It was the worst-possible case for Mulder, but the J♦5♥8♠9♣7♥ runout gave Mulder an unlikely straight with his six and he doubled up.

On the very next hand, Mulder raised to 320,000 on the button and was called by Nashar in the small blind. Samuel Mullur went all in from the big blind and Mulder went all is as well for 1,920,000 total. Nashar let his hand go and another showdown was held.

When it folded to Samuel Mullur in the small blind he shoved for roughly 2,000,000. Elias Gutierrez looked at his cards from the big blind and made the call.

Mullur needed a lot of help to stay in the tournament. The flop of Q♥8♥A♣ gave both players a pair but it was Gutierrez who was best with top pair. However the 7♦ on the turn put Mullur in the lead with two pair. Gutierrez didn't improve on the K♦ river and Mullur doubled up.

Samuel Mullur raised to 320,000 from under the gun and Hassan Nashar defended his big blind.

Nashar check-called a 220,000 bet from Mullur on the 3♣A♥J♥ flop and a 600,000 bet from Mullur on the 2♦ turn.

Both players checked down on the 4♣ river and Nashar showed A♣9♠, which got a muck from Mullur.

"Whatever you bet, I was calling," Nashar said as he collected the pot.
