A classic race would determine Schrijvers' future in the event. The flop of A♦7♦10♦ put Ladev ahead with top pair but Schrijvers had picked up a flush draw. The Q♥ turn didn't change anything, but the 4♦ river improved Schrijvers to a flush and he had doubled up through Ladev.
