Ding Hits the Flop, Spencer Smacks the Turn to Double

Biao Ding raised to 16,000 in early position and Lewis Spencer called in middle position. Roman Hrabec then three-bet to 50,000 in the hijack and Ding moved all in. Spencer called for 112,000, while Hrabec got out of the way.

Spencer had trapped Ding with his aces and was poised for a double up until the flop brought 8♠7♥3♣ to give Ding a set. The turn, though, was the A♦ and Spencer also spiked a set to take back the lead. The river was the 5♣ and Spencer doubled up.
