Liu and Oeye Look to Gamble

Ollie Garland

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Xiaohu Liu raised to 2,500 from the hijack and Espen Oeye called on the button.

The 7♥A♦2♦ flop saw Liu continue for 5,000. Oeye went into a lengthy tank before making the call.

The 8♥ turn saw Liu size up to 11,000. Oeye elected to move all in for 48,100 and Liu had a decision.

"Gamble!" Liu exclaimed as he chose to make the call.

Espen Oeye: J♦7♦ All in
Xiaohu Liu: J♥9♥

Oeye seemed surprised his pair of sevens were best. The J♠ failed to complete Liu's flush or straight draw and Oeye doubled up.
