Wei Takes a Chunk Out of Kolev
Niveau 34
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Guo Liang Wei limped in on the button and Boris Kolev checked his option in the big blind.
The A♣2♦6♦ flop saw Kolev check-call a bet of 300,000 from Wei.
The 7♥ turn saw a repeat of the action; this time Wei sized up to 600,000.
The 3♦ river prompted a third check from Kolev. Wei fired one last time for 1,600,000, sending Kolev into the tank. Kolev thought for several minutes before making the call. Wei rolled over K♦7♠ for second pair which was, much to Kolev's surprise, the best hand, earning him the pot.
