Dato Doubles Up
Niveau 23
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Andrea Dato raised to 50,000 on the button and was called by Boris Tabiyev in the big blind
Dato continued for 35,000 on the Q♦9♦9♣ flop and was check-raised to 80,000. He put in the extra chips to see a turn of J♦. Tabiyev piled in 300,000 chips, over-betting the pot.
Dato moved in for 180,000 more and Tabiyev snap-called.
Andrea Dato: K♠10♦
Boris Tabiyev: 9♠7♥
The 10♥ river did not improve Tabiyev's trips to a full house and Dato's straight doubled him up to stay in contention.
