Joyce Wins With the Ladies

Daniel J O'Hair

Niveau 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Philip Joyce opened to 100,000 first to act and found one caller in Andriy Lyubovetskiy in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 8♥J♠9♣ flop and then Joyce called a 125,000 bet from Lyubovetskiy on the 3♥ turn.

The 7♣ brought four cards to a straight on board and Lyubovetskiy bet 150,000. Joyce called and Lyubovetskiy showed A♠J♦ for top pair, top kicker.

Joyce quickly rolled over a superior Q♦Q♠ to claim to pot.
