The fourth season of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) run by PokerStars is well underway and the action only continues to heat up with the recent schedule release for its marquee stop in Las Vegas. Running from Friday November 1st through Sunday November 10th at Resorts World Las Vegas, the series is not one to miss as it features a whopping 36 tournaments in the span of a week and a half.

Buy-ins range from just $250 all the way up to $25,000 so there are plenty of options for those who want to enjoy some live tournament action without breaking the bank while also providing an opportunity for high stakes regulars to satisfy their desire to play for eye watering sums of money. The high volume means the series comes with a healthy $4,000,000 in total guarantees, including a sizable $3,000,000 set aside for the $5,300 Main Event.

Three-handed on a flop of A♣K♠3♠, Andrea Dato bet 14,000 from under the gun and Taago Tamm called in the small blind. Tobias Eichenseher then moved all in for 67,000 in the big blind, Dato called, and Tamm got out of the way.

Dato was ahead with top pair, while Eichenseher was looking to complete a flush draw to stay alive. The J♥ turn gave Eichenseher more outs with a pair, while the 7♠ fell on the river as Eichenseher spiked his flush to double up, leaving last year's runner-up with around 10 big blinds.

Vytautas Semaska opened from under the gun to 16,000 and Adi Rajkovic called in the next seat. Halil Tasyurek called from the small blind and Oliver Weis came along from the big blind.

The four went to a flop of J♦4♣K♠, which checked around to Rajkovic, who fired 12,000. Tasyurek then made it 36,000, which got Weis and Semaska to fold, but Rajkovic stuck around.

The K♦ then dropped on the turn where Tasyurek shoved for 110,000, and Rajkovic snap-folded.

Mhiri Busts Ionescu

Petre Ionescu was getting up out of his seat and leaving the table, after his 7♦6♥ was bested by Chakib Mhiri's 9♦9♥ on J♥8♦7♥K♥10♦, Mhiri ending up with the jack-high straight and taking Ionescu's final 55,000.

Walter Treccarichi moved all in for 80,000 from under the gun and Zhewen Hu called in the cutoff.

Treccarichi was ahead until the flop brought Q♣Q♦J♥ to give Hu trips. "Wow, very lucky," Hu said as the 6♦ fell on the turn.

Treccarichi needed to complete a straight draw on the river to stay alive, but the J♣ river only improved Hu to a full house and sent Treccarichi to the rail.

Lindqwist Doubles Up with a Straight Against Dato's Aces

Andrea Dato kicked off the action on the button with a raise to 12,000, but Erik Lindqwist in the small blind wasn’t backing down, three-betting to 45,000. Dato called.

On the J♠Q♣J♣ flop, Lindqwist kept the pressure on with an 18,000 continuation bet, and Dato called again.

When the 10♥ hit the turn, Lindqwist took his time, using his entire time bank plus an additional card, before shoving all in. Dato asked for a count, and when the dealer confirmed 188,000, he needed a time bank card of his own before making the call, bringing the hand to showdown.

Lindqwist revealed A♠K♠ for a turned straight, while Dato held A♥A♣ for aces up. Dato needed help from the river to improve or hope for a chop, but the 7♠ didn’t deliver. Lindqwist secured a huge double-up.
