Mateos Loves a Chopped Pot
Niveau 21
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau limped in from the small blind and Adrian Mateos moved all in for 1,760,000. Vaskaboinikau snap-called.
Adrian Mateos: A♦9♥
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: A♣9♣
Both players showed down the same hand and were poised for a chop, but the J♣7♣4♥ flop meant Mateos had to dodge Vaskaboinikau's flush draw. Vaskaboinikau began shaking his cards pleading with the dealer for a club, but the rest of the board came 9♦10♠ and Mateos survived with a chop.
