Kulev Doubles on the Bubble
Niveau 17
: 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Action folded around to Alex Kulev in the small blind, who raised almost his entire stack save for one 25,000 chip. Damian Salas made the call in the small blind.
Kulev checked the 8♦K♣10♠ flop before Salas asked for the last 25,000. Kulev called and the hands were turned up when action finished on the other table.
Alex Kulev: A♦10♦
Damian Salas: 10♣9♠
Both players flopped a pair, with Kulev's kicker in front. The 3♠ turn changed nothing, while Kulev improved on the A♣ river to double and stay alive.
