Bert Stevens opened to 2,500 from early position and was met with a three-bet to 8,500 by David Yan in the next seat. Action folded back to Stevens, who called.
On the 9♥Q♥7♦ flop, Stevens check-called a bet of 14,000 from Yan.
The 8♣ turn was checked through by both players.
On the J♦ river, Stevens led out with a bet of 26,000. Yan went into the tank, and took two timebanks before calling.
Stevens showed 10♠10♣ for the queen-high straight, and Yan mucked his hand.

Players will have a starting stack of 250,000 chips with blinds beginning at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. Day 1 is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 p.m. local time as competitors play through eight 60-minute levels, with an additional break of 20 minutes every two levels.
A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the event and players will have six-time bank cards worth 30 seconds each. An additional time bank card will be allocated to each player at the start of every level.
This is an unlimited reentry event and late registration will be available until the start of Day 2.
