Eisele Leaves Wheeler Short
Niveau 17
: 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jason Wheeler opened to 14,000 from middle position and received calls from Stefan Dimitrov in the cutoff and Gerald Eisele in the small blind.
The flop came 6♥5♦3♥. Eisele shoved for 72,000, Wheeler re-shoved for roughly 130,000 and Dimitrov got out of the way leaving Eisele at risk.
Gerald Eisele: 7♦6♣
Jason Wheeler: Q♥9♥
Eisele was ahead with top pair and a straight draw but Wheeler had several outs in the form of two overcards and a flush draw. The J♦ turn and 4♠ river were bricks and Eisele secured a full double up while Wheeler was left with just over ten big blinds.
