River Bails Out Bonanata
Niveau 7
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Marcelo Bonanata under the gun and Jon Ander Vallinas in the big blind had created a pot of 21,500 when all the chips went in the middle on a board of K♦3♣J♠4♠. Bonanata was the at-risk player with a stack of 89,500 as the cards hit the felt.
Marcelo Bonanata: A♣K♠
Jon Ander Vallinas: J♥3♥
Bonanata flopped top pair, but it was second best behind the two pair of Vallinas. The K♣ river upgraded him to trips, however, resulting in his victory and double-up.
