Lonis Flops the Joint For a Massive Double
Niveau 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
With around 120,000 in the middle in a three-way pot, Jesse Lonis bet 45,000 from the button on a board of A♠9♥9♦3♠ and Tom Vogelsang raised to 190,000 in the small blind.
Alexander van der Swaluw folded in middle position, while Lonis called to see the 10♣ river. Vogelsang then moved all in.
Lonis instantly called for his last 519,000 and Vogelsang showed 3♥3♣ for a full house. Lonis, though, had A♦9♣ for a flopped full house to win the pot and earn a massive double up to jump into contention for the chip lead.
"I knew I shouldn't have asked for a three. I should've kept quiet," Vogelsang said with a laugh after the hand.
