Halimi Survives on the River
Niveau 23
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Rony Halimi moved all in for 100,000 under the gun, Rain Heeringas reshoved on the button, and the blinds got out of the way.
Rony Halimi: A♥7♣
Rain Heeringas: A♦K♣
Halimi was dominated and remained behind as the board came 4♥2♦10♣9♠, but he caught the 7♥ on the river and slammed the table in celebration of his fortunate double up.
"Lucky river. Congratulations," tablemate Sergii Baranov told him.
Halimi has been at the center of several verbal confrontations with his tablemates today after they accused him of taking too long on most of his decisions.
