Frankland Hits the River to Leave Miquel Munoz on Crumbs
Niveau 25
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Mathew Frankland and Marta Miquel Munoz saw a flop of A♣3♠9♦ where Frankland got his last 330,000 in from the button and Miquel Munoz put him at risk in middle position, having Frankland barely covered.
Mathew Frankland: A♦Q♥
Marta Miquel Munoz: A♠2♣
Frankland was ahead with his queen-kicker until the 2♠ fell on the turn to give Miquel Munoz two pair. The river, though, was the Q♣ and Frankland made a better two pair to win the pot.
"Chip and a chair," Miquel Munoz said as she sat back down to an extreme short stack.
