Matrai Gets a Fold After Lengthy Tank From Ouachekradi

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Naim Ouachekradi opened to 130,000 first-to-act and was called by Sun Yunsheng in the cutoff and Andras Matrai in the small blind.

Matrai checked to Ouachekradi on the 367 flop and he continued for 280,000. Yunsheng got out of the way, but Matrai then check-raised to 720,000 — sending Ouachekradi deep into the tank.

The clock was eventually called by a tablemate and the floor gave Ouachekradi a 30-second countdown.

Ouachekradi failed to act before time ran out and his hand was announced dead, sending the pot Matrai’s way.

Frankland Gets a Double Into Break

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Mathew Frankland moved all in from the small blind and Daniel Kyosev called on the button.

Mathew Frankland: KQ
Daniel Kyosev: A3

"How about a king. Then an ace. I changed my mind, I want to win," Kyosev said heading to the K32 flop, which gave Frankland top pair. The turn was the 5 to give Kyosev a straight draw, but he missed the J river and Frankland doubled up.

"330 I think," tablemate Parker Talbot said as the dealer counted out Frankland's stack.

"340 actually," Frankland replied.

"Holy f**k dude, you're rich," Talbot joked.

"I run so bad," Kyosev added as he watched the pot go to Frankland.

Walk for Segebrecht with Kings

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Claas Stegebrecht was in the big blind and a number of opponents had seemed to be contemplating raising, before ultimately opting to fold, giving him a walk in the big blind.

Segebrecht looked down at his cards, started laughing and turned over KK, causing much mirth at the table.

As Segebrecht told PokerNews "I should never have looked," which as all poker players know is rule number one when given a walk.

Amiri, Pichierri Depart

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ehsan Amiri moved all in for 240,000 from the small blind and Alex Glogar called in early position.

Ehsan Amiri: K10
Alex Glogar: 99

The 775Q7 board gave Glogar a full house and was no help to Amiri as he was sent to the rail.

At the same time on another table, Alessandro Pichierri already had his short stack in the middle as Renji Mao and Sonny Franco went to the turn with around 500,000 in the pot. Franco bet 250,000 from the big blind on a board of 64106 as action went on Mao in the cutoff.

"I fold this one," Mao said as he gave up his hand. Franco then showed K10 for two pair, while Pichierri had AJ. The river was the 7 and Franco finished off Pichierri.

"Okay good," Mao said after the hand.

Siljander Doubles After “Rude” Shove

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Vlad Darie opened to 125,000 from the hijack and Mathias Siljander shoved for 675,000 on the button. It was folded back to Darie, who asked for a count before making the call to put Siljander at risk.

Mathias Siljander: A9
Vlad Darie: 77

“I think that’s a little bit rude,” Darie joked after seeing what Siljander had shoved with.

Regardless, the 96229 runout improved Siljander to a full house and he found the double up.

Heads-up on a flop of 276, Alessandro Pichierri bet 175,000 from the cutoff, then called when Sonny Franco moved all in for 725,000 in the hijack.

Sonny Franco: 88
Alessandro Pichierri: 1010

Pichierri was poised for a knockout with his higher pocket pair as the 3 fell on the turn, but the 8 fell on the river to give Franco a set and a miracle double up, leaving Pichierri nursing an extreme short stack.

Glogar Doubles With Quads

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Alex Glogar
Alex Glogar

Action was folded to Alexander Glogar in the small blind, who moved all in for around 350,000. Sokratis Linaras made the quick call in the big blind with the covering stack.

Alexander Glogar: 55
Sokratis Linaras: QJ

Glogar was ahead in a race and his prospects greatly improved after the 1057 flop gave him a set.

The 5 then rolled off on the turn to give Glogar quads and leave his opponent drawing dead. The irrelevant 10 completed the board.
