Action folded to Naim Ouachekradi who moved all in for 1,400,000 in the small blind. Niklas Bauer snap-called in the big blind.
Naim Ouachekradi: 8♦3♠
Niklas Bauer: A♦K♥
Ouachekradi had been caught making a big move and could only watch as the 7♦10♣7♥7♣A♣ board gave Bauer a full house to send him to the rail in 20th place.
Yunsheng Sun opened to 240,000 from the hijack and directly behind him, Mathew Frankland shoved for his last 875,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Sun, who went into the tank and eventually put in calling chips to put Frankland at risk.
Mathew Frankland: A♥10♠
Yunsheng Sun: A♠2♠
Sun found himself dominated, and the 4♣9♠7♣3♥9♣ runout kept Frankland best with his ten kicker for the double up.
Omar Del Pino had opened and was faced with an all-in three-bet to 1,480,000 from Dann Assouline. Del Pino made the quick call to put Assouline at risk.
Dann Assouline: A♥K♥
Omar Del Pino: 10♣10♠
Del Pino was ahead in a race but the K♠5♦8♦ flop put Assouline in front with a pair of kings, and he remained there on the A♠Q♥ turn and river, improving to two pair.
Guillermo Gordo opened to 200,000 and was faced with a three-bet to 1,200,000 by Lars Kamphues, who left himself 50,000 behind.
Gordo quickly moved all-in and Kamphues soon followed suit to put himself at risk.
Lars Kamphues: K♠J♠
Guillermo Gordo: 9♠9♣
Kamphues was ahead in a race and looked good for a double-up after the flop came J♣2♣3♣, but the K♣ rolled off on the turn to give Gordo the flush and Kamphues did not fill up as required on the 6♦ river, sending him to the rail.
Parker Talbot raised to 200,000 in the hijack before Stephane Gabarre moved all in from the button. "How much is it," Talbot asked.
"It was more. A lot more," Gabarre joked as the dealer counted out 950,000. Talbot eventually called.
Stephane Gabarre: 5♦5♣
Parker Talbot: A♥10♥
Gabarre was flipping for his tournament life as the board ran out 3♥8♠J♣7♥7♣. Talbot picked up a flush draw on the turn but improved no further as Gabarre smacked the table in celebration of his double up.
Yunsheng Sun raised to 200,000 on the button and Guillermo Gordo called in the big blind.
The flop came A♥5♣6♥ and Sun continued for 200,000. Gordo called and both players checked the J♦ turn.
The 9♠ fell on the river and Gordo slid forward 650,000. Sun called and Gordo turned over A♦9♦ for two pair. Sun mucked as Gordo added to his chip lead.
Andras Matrai opened to 200,000 and Sokratis Linaras moved all in for 320,000. Michel Leibgorin in the next seat cold-called, and Matrai also just called.
The two active players checked down the J♥3♦J♠6♣2♣ runout.
Linaras had Q♣J♦ for trip jacks which was good against the ace-high of Matrai and the king-high of Leibgorin.
Lars Kamphues raised to 160,000 in early position and Charles Whitehouse called in the hijack. Nicolas Vayssieres then three-bet to 1,375,000 on the button.
Guillermo Gordo called in the small blind, while Kamphues and Whitehouse both got out of the way. The flop came 8♠4♠4♦ and Gordo moved all in.
Vayssieres shrugged and turned around to look at the clock as he tanked for several minutes. The clock was eventually called and he decided to put in his last 1,000,000.
Nicolas Vayssieres: J♥J♣
Guillermo Gordo: K♥K♠
Vayssieres found himself crushed by Gordo's kings as the board ran out 3♣10♠, sending him out of the tournament in 22nd place.
