Greenwood Cruising Early
Niveau 3
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Heads-up on a flop of 3♣5♠8♠ and around 35,000 in the pot, Sam Greenwood bet 21,000 from the small blind and Adrian Mateos called in the hijack.
The turn was the 6♦ and Greenwood bet 37,000. Mateos again called and the 6♥ fell on the river.
Greenwood slowed down and checked, and Mateos quickly checked back as Greenwood turned over 9♣8♣ for two pair. Mateos mucked and Greenwood took the pot, moving his stack past 300,000 early in the day.
