Dvoress Works the Stop and Go to a Double Up
Niveau 13
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 20,000 in the cutoff as Daniel Dvoress and Mike Watson came along from the blinds.
The flop came 3♣8♠9♦ and Dvoress moved all in for 75,000. Watson gave it some thought before folding, but Thorel snap-called.
Daniel Dvoress: Q♠J♥
Jean-Noel Thorel: K♠9♠
Thorel showed top pair, while Dvoress was looking to complete a straight draw. The 10♣ turn gave him his straight and Thorel paid him off following the A♣ river.
"Good old stop and go," Dvoress said.
