Astedt Sends Dvoress Deep Into the Tank
Niveau 17
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Nearly 200,000 was already in the middle as Niklas Astedt and Daniel Dvoress went heads-up to the turn on a board of 4♠J♣8♣8♦. Astedt then led out for 60,000 from the big blind and Dvoress called in the cutoff.
The river was the Q♦ and Astedt fired out 150,000. Dvoress went deep into the tank, burning through four time banks as he agonized over the decision before eventually calling.
Astedt showed him K♠8♠ for trip eights and Dvoress mucked.
