Grasu Turns the Nuts Against Aces

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Alin Grasu
Alin Grasu

Judy Whitlow limped in under the gun, as did Michael Hooper in middle position and Alin Grasu in the small blind. The big blind checked their option.

The action checked to Whitlow, who bet out 600 on the 6105 flop. Only Hooper and Grasu called.

The 7 saw the action check to Whitlow once more. She bet out 2,000, Hooper called and Grasu check-raised to 10,000. Whitelow called and Hooper got out of the way.

The J river saw Grasu moved all in for 21,400. Whitlow thought for some time before mucking AA face up. Grasu claimed this pot, showing AJ for the nut flush as he did so.

Mateusz Wozniak opened in the hijack before being three-bet to 1,700 by Darius Gadeikis next to act. The action quickly folded back to Wozniak and he made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of J76, and Wozniak check-called a continuation bet of 2,500.

When the 5 hit the turn, Wozniak checked and Gadeikis fired 6,000 into the middle. Wozniak then check-raised all-in for 23,200, forcing Gadeikis to tank-fold.
