Adams Takes From Ponakovs
Niveau 1
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Action was picked up on the flop of 7♠J♠5♥ with around 90,000 in the pot. Timothy Adams opted to check from the small blind to Aleksejs Ponakovs who bet 22,000 after deploying a time bank.
Adams also used a time bank before putting in the check-raise to 68,000. Ponakovs elected to use another one of his time banks before making the call.
The Q♣ turn was knuckled around quickly, leading to the J♣ river. Adams led into Ponakovs for 134,500 to which Ponakovs made a quick fold, leaving Adams with a sizeable pot early on.
