Aleksejs Ponakovs Eliminated on the Bubble
Niveau 18
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Markkos Ladev opened 130,000 in early position, and Aleksejs Ponakovs defended the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of K♦Q♦10♠, and Ponakovs checked before Ladev dropped a stack of greens for a bet of 500,000 into the middle. Ponakovs called off his remaining 210,000, and both hands were tossed face up.
Aleksejs Ponakovs: K♣9♣
Markkos Ladev: K♥K♠
The Q♥ turn improved Ladev to a full house as Ponakovs stood up from the table, and the 9♦ completed the board on the river.
