Theodoros Ampelikiotis Eliminated in 5th Place (€138,370)
Niveau 38
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Ryan Plant opened to 1,600,000 first to act and action folded around to Theodoros Ampelikiotis in the big blind, who committed his stack worth about 10 million into the middle. Plant called to put Ampelikiotis at risk and the board was run.
Theodoros Ampelikiotis: A♥K♥
Ryan Plant: 7♦7♣
It was a familiar match-up, and the 3♦8♥5♠9♥9♠ runout kept Plant's sevens out in front to eliminate Ampelikiotis in fifth place.
