Ruling, Penalty and Bustout Before the Break

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Tournament officials had been called to a table for a hand involving Heza Inthachon and Dimitar Iwanov-Petkin.

With the board reading 832QA, Iwanov-Petkin had opened A10 face-up on the table. The dealer had then removed these and placed them in the muck.

"No, I said all-in!" said Iwanov-Petkin. He believed that this all-in had subsequently been called by Inthachon, and therefore he had opened his cards. On the other hand, Inthachon believed that Iwanov-Petkin had thrown his hand away.

In the end, tournament officials ruled that Iwanov-Petkin had tabled his hand in turn, and not mucked it, and therefore it was retrieved from the muck and properly tabled.

Iwanov-Petkin then called and Inthachon's hand 84 was then turned over and he was eliminated. For prematurely opening his cards, Iwanov-Petkin received a one-round penalty.

Weiser Sends Toth to the Rail

Niveau 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Arpad Toth opened to 1,000 on the button and was called by Ivan Khainatskyi in the small blind and Christian Weiser in the big blind.

It was checked to Toth on the Q48 flop and he continued for 1,000. Khainatskyi folded and Weiser called.

Weiser led out for 2,000 after the 8 paired the board on the turn and Toth raised to 5,000. Undeterred, Weiser made it 14,000 to go and Toth called.

The A completed the board and Weiser quickly announced he was all in. Toth called all in for approximately 25,000 and Weiser showed A8 for a full house.

Toth held KQ for the nut flush and wished his tablemates good luck before exiting the tournament area.

Bilem Busts, Mifsud Spikes the Turn

Niveau 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Brandon Mifsud
Brandon Mifsud

Alexander Fradlin had opened from under the gun and Mehdi Bilem had shoved for around 8,000 from middle position. Brandon Mifsud shoved in his stack of just over 16,000 from the big blind, and Fradlin called, which put two players at risk.

Mehdi Bilem: 94 All in
Brandon Mifsud: A8 All in
Alexander Fradlin: AQ

Bilem was on a wild adventure, but surprisingly had live cards and decent equity against the holdings of his two opponents. However, a 3KK flop kept Fradlin in the lead, but an 8 on the turn paired Mifsud's eight to send him out in front. Nothing changed on the 5 river, which left Bilem out the door and gave Mifsud a stack of around 40,000.

Anton Siden

Anton Siden and Martin Surovec got their chips in the middle from the blinds, with the former at risk for his stack of around 20,000.

Anton Siden: 99 All in
Martin Surovec: QQ

Siden was way behind and didn't pick up any help on the 344 flop. A 7 on the turn left him with one more shot at survival, but the 5 river wasn't the nine he needed, and he was eliminated.
