Santerne Puts Nikitins to the Test
Niveau 6
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Thomas Santerne raised to 4,500 from under the gun, receiving calls from Enrico Camosci and Mihails Nikitins, in the respective blinds.
The 8♦10♣10♥ flop saw Camosci check. Nikitins played out of flow with a lead of 10,500. Santerne responded with a raise to 22,000 and Camosci folded. Nikitins called.
The 7♥ turn checked through to the 2♣ river. Nikitins checked again and Santerne moved all in for 65,000. Nikitins tanked for some time before making a reluctant call.
Mihails Nikitins: Q♠8♠
Thomas Santerne: Q♣8♣
Santerne almost knocked Nikitins off a chop, but the pot was split.
