Mulder Rivers Set to Deliver Blow to O'Dwyer
Niveau 7
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Steve O'Dwyer completed the small blind and Teun Mulder checked his option in the big blind.
The flop came 2♥4♣6♠ and O'Dwyer bet 3,000, which Mulder called. The turn was the J♥ and O'Dwyer sized up a bet of 15,000, which Mulder called.
On the 8♥ river, O'Dwyer bet 27,000 then Mulder moved all in for 92,000. O'Dwyer made the call and flipped over J♦6♥ for two pair. Mulder, however, flipped over 8♣8♦ for a set of eights to win the pot, putting a huge dent in O'Dwyer's stack.
