Action was picked up with Bruno Bernardino all in and at risk versus the covering stack of Espen Jorstad.
Bruno Bernardino: A♠8♦
Espen Jorstad: A♥J♥
Bernadino made trips and faded Jorstad's flopped flush draw across the 10♥5♥8♠8♣4♠ runout to secure the double up.
Niveau: 24
Blinds: 15,000/30,000
Ante: 30,000
Artsiom Lasouski opened to 50,000 from under the gun, and Arsenii Karmatckii produced a three-bet to 250,000 from the button, leaving himself about 175,000 behind. Lasouski quickly four-bet jammed with the covering stack, and Karmatckii moved the rest of his chips into the middle.
Arsenii Karmatckii: 8♥8♠
Artsiom Lasouski: J♠J♦
Karmatckii had walked into a higher pair, and although he turned a gutshot, he ultimately bricked the Q♥7♣5♦4♥A♦ runout.
Bruno Bernardino on the button jammed for 275,000, and he was called by Renji Mao in the big blind.
Bruno Bernardino: A♦6♠
Renji Mao: A♥8♣
Bernardino was on the edge of elimination after the flop of 9♦5♣9♠ and the J♠ turn. But the 9♥ river put a set on the board, making them split the pot.
Arsenii Karmatckii jammed from the button for 225,000 and was looked up by Christian Pedersen in the big blind.
Arsenii Karmatckii: K♠10♥
Christian Pedersen: 2♣2♠
Karmatckii was behind but faced the worst pair and seemed happy enough when he saw his opponent's holding.
He was happier after the J♠10♣4♥ flop put him front with second pair, and he improved to two pair on the K♥ turn, with the 8♦ river completing the board.
Maksim Vaskresenski moved all in for 105,000 from early position. Mariusz Golinski was the sole caller from the cutoff.
Maksim Vaskresenski: 8♠8♣
Mariusz Golinski: Q♦Q♥
Vaskresenski couldn't find the two outer or hit the flopped straight draw across the 7♣10♥9♣5♥4♠ runout.
Short-stacked Bruno Bernardino moved all in from middle position for 135,000, and Espen Jorstad called in the small blind.
Bruno Bernardino: 7♥7♣
Espen Jorstad: A♣Q♦
Bernardino was ahead in a race and Jorstad missed the J♥4♣3♥2♣6♥ runout.
In a blind versus blind situation, Christian Pedersen in the small blind bet 25,000 on 2♦A♠A♣ and Artsiom Lasouski to his left made the call.
Pedersen fired a second barrel of 40,000 on the 9♥ turn. Lasouski called again to find the K♣ river where Pedersen bet 175,000.
It didn't take very long for Lasouski to fold. On the very next hand, he raised to 85,000 from the small blind, but Mariusz Golinski in the big blind three-bet to 225,000 and made Lasouski fold.
Laszlo Molnar opened to 50,000 from under the gun. Espen Jorstad called in the small blind and David Boyaciyan defended the big blind.
Both blinds checked to Molnar, who bet 65,000 on the K♥2♣8♣ flop. Jorstad called before Boyaciyan moved all in for 190,000. Molnar called and Jorstad folded.
David Boyaciyan: K♣4♣
Laszlo Molnar: K♦8♦
Boyaciyan couldn't complete his flush draw on the 2♦ turn and the A♦ river — eliminating him from the tournament.
