Triple-Up for Tomescu

Niveau 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Julien Sitbon opened to 6,000 from the hijack, and was faced with a three-bet jam by George-Mircea Tomescu in the cutoff to 76,000.

Dan Djorno was in the small blind, and he cold-called, leaving himself about 180,000 behind. Sitbon promptly four-bet jammed with the covering stack, and Djorno went into the tank. After about two minutes he folded, claiming he had queens.

Tomescu was chasing a two-outer, and it arrived on the J76 flop. The Q hit on the turn, and Djorno put his head in his hands.

Khorchidian Good at Showdown

Niveau 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Around 21,500 was in the middle on a flop of A810, in a hand between Nichan Khorchidian under the gun and Arthur Thiriart in middle position.

Khorchidian fired out a bet of 7,000, and Thiriart called.

The 3 turn was checked through to the 7 river. Khorchidian check-called a bet of 35,000 from Thiriart, and his AQ for a pair of aces was good versus Thiriart's KQ for king-high, having missed his gutshot.
