EPT Prague $25,000 Super High Roller Second Chance Kicks Off Today at 7:00 p.m.
The PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague at the Hilton Prague continues today, December 11, with the $25,000 Super High Roller Second Chance at 7:00 p.m. Today’s event is the third of the series that boasts a title of Super High Roller champion for the eventual victor.
The first $25,000 Super High Roller Warm Up attracted a total of 34 entries. It was Espen Jorstad who eventually lifted the trophy and claimed the €277,500 first-place prize. Jorstad's resume in poker certainly needs no introduction, but as he continues to carve his legacy among the poker elite, this Super High Roller win will be forever remembered as his maiden victory on the European Poker Tour Circuit.
The anticipation of this large figure buy-in tournament was leading up to the prestigious €50,000 EPT Super High Roller. It was Thomas Santerne who bested the 25-player star-studded field to claim €385,725 and a PokerStars golden shard; his second €50,000 EPT Super High Roller title after winning the same event in Paris this year.

The high rollers to find their way to the felt today will be met with a starting stack of 250,000 and will play through 30-minute levels, with registration closing at the start of play on Day 2. Approximately 13-15% of the field will be paid.
This is a two-day event with the conclusion of Day 1 at the end of Level 8. Day 2 starts tomorrow, December 12, at 12:30 p.m. and will play down to a winner.
A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the event, with all players being given a total of four time bank chips. A singular time bank may be redeemed for 30 extra seconds of thinking time. The players who are seated at the first hand of every odd level number (3, 5, 7, 9 etc), will receive one extra time bank. There will be a 15-minute break every four levels.
